Let’s make this MONITOR MONDAY!
Make a commitment this week, starting today, to monitor all of your operations.
Focus on the major ones first. Then work your way down through the minor ones.
Every operation counts. Time every part of an operation that time can make a difference. On any construction site, that pretty much encompasses everything!
Load times, haul times, dump times, excavation times, bedding times, placement times, backfill times, form times, strip times, pour times, lay out times, fabricate times, install times, erect times…. if you can time it, YOU CAN IMPROVE IT.
Look for every opportunity to “tweak an operation” to gain those few precious minutes or seconds.
Continuous improvement is
Never be satisfied.
Strive to be the best you can possibly be.
MONITOR IT and you will MAKE IT HAPPEN!
